Learning music is learning to speak without words
These lessons focus on you and building your skills. I’ll focus on creating a customized lesson plan and we’ll work together to achieve your goals. We’ll work on technique and incorporate pieces if you’re in band or focus on your musical interests.
These lessons will focus on building the skills of the all members of the group. Group lessons usually focus on a group goal, usually working on working as an ensemble or working up a performance piece. Group lessons are great for students who want to play with their friends or for new chamber ensembles.
Workshops are usually one or two sessions long focusing intently on a performance piece or ensemble skill. I can provide workshops for groups of 3 or more as well as middle or high school woodwind sections.
Let’s do a 30 minute trial lesson. You and I will meet and talk through your goals and have a lesson focusing on those goals. We’ll make some music together and you’ll get to decide whether you’d like to continue.
